“The 2005 NHSFR was a terrific event and we’re extremely pleased with how it turned out,” says Kent Sturman,
Executive Director of the National High School Rodeo Association. “This is the seventh year that CAM-PLEX has hosted the Finals Rodeo and once again, they were a great partner. Every year, the talent level at the NHSFR seems to be just a little bit more intense. It is always amazing to see just how well-rounded these rodeo athletes really are.”

The NHSFR will now move to Springfield, Illinois for the next two years. The 2006 event will be held July 24-30 at the
Illinois State Fairgrounds - Springfield location.

The National High School Rodeo Association is one of the fastest growing youth organizations in the nation, with an
annual membership of over 10,500 students from 40 states, five Canadian provinces and Australia. The Association
sanctions over 1,100 rodeos each year. The NHSRA is governed by a national board of directors, which consists of one member from each state or province. A staff at the national headquarters in Denver, Colorado, handles the day-to-day operations.
